Swisscanto index funds are characterised by their broad diversification, low return variance risk compared to the benchmark (tracking error) and their cost-optimised management. A high level of transparency is important to us here. Our index funds exclusively use physical replication, i.e. we invest in the securities contained in the respective benchmark index effectively.

The portfolio and risk management platform serves as the basis of the investment process and ensures optimum integration and security. The entire value chain is seamlessly mapped in the system, enabling daily portfolio monitoring with strict adherence to investment guidelines.

We always focus on cost optimisation. Examples of this are the reclaiming of withholding tax or the model we developed as the first Swiss provider to reduce issue and redemption fees. The expenses are allocated to the intersection of daily subscriptions and redemptions because there is no investment requirement. We pass this cost advantage on to our customers.

We develop and manage Swisscanto index funds exclusively in Switzerland. In addition, the Swisscanto index funds are Swiss investment funds under Swiss law – specifically for our institutional clients in Switzerland.
